What is the difference between Stardog Free and Enterprise offerings?
Stardog Free is available as a renewable 1-year license and is available for commercial use, but it does not offer high availability, caching, backups, LDAP integration, or access to the full breadth of our Connectors. You can not sign up for Support packages on a Stardog Free license, but support is available through our Community. Stardog’s Enterprise offerings for on-prem and cloud use come included with Base Support.
Do you have a database-only offering?
No. While Stardog’s Enterprise Knowledge Graph platform contains a storage option in the form of an RDF database, we do not offer that as a separate product. Stardog’s platform is designed for data management, not data storage.
What data sources do you support?
Stardog offers Connectors to popular data sources to access data. We also support Connectors to upstream analytics tools to easily access and analyze connected data. Stardog’s Virtual Graphs capability allows remote access to downstream data sources. Stardog supports all major SQL systems and the most popular NoSQL databases as virtual sources. All data unified in Stardog’s Enterprise Knowledge Graph platform is available via REST API.
Do you provide uptime guarantees?
We can only guarantee uptime as part of our Stardog Cloud managed service offering. We always recommend deploying a High Availability Cluster for best results.
